Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Duarte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otto Vetch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcos Duarte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Otto Vetch! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vetch will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Duarte dips to his left and cracks Vetch with an uppercut! Duarte throws a good cross that connects.
Vetch tries to clinch up. Vetch scores with a leg kick.
Nice defenses there by Vetch. Duarte shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Vetch wants to control but Duarte is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vetch reaches up to try and control the position but Duarte seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Vetch rolls and tries to escape and now Duarte has his back!
Vetch grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Duarte scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Duarte softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Vetch just trying to survive but Duarte is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Vetch is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Duarte is staying active. Vetch rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duarte wants to pass the guard but Vetch is defending well. Vetch manages to get to full guard.
Duarte throwing strikes but missing. Duarte trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Duarte trying to control but Vetch is working from the bottom. Duarte loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Duarte stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vetch swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vetch controls Duarte momentarily but Duarte frees himself. Duarte passes Vetch's left leg - he's now in half guard. Duarte is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Duarte is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Duarte is looking to stall here but Vetch recovers full guard. Duarte throwing strikes from guard but Vetch blocks nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duarte trying to control the position from guard on top but Vetch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Vetch trying to keep a closed guard but Duarte is proving a slippery customer.
Vetch utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Vetch managing to control the position. Duarte with a flurry of punches that miss. Duarte trying to control the position from guard on top but Vetch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Vetch connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Vetch is looking to clinch but Duarte is avoiding it.
Duarte is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Vetch's half guard. Duarte is looking to take a break and control but Vetch is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Duarte is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Vetch won't allow Duarte to pass to mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Duarte not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Vetch has hold of Duarte's hands but Duarte slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcos Duarte dominated that round. That's time! Duarte's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Duarte darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Vetch trying to control from the bottom.
Vetch looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Duarte wants to take a breather but Vetch is having none of it. Nice strikes from Duarte there. Duarte not landing any meaningful shots this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duarte frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Vetch taking shots to the head. Duarte has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Duarte sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's one minute gone in the round. Vetch holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Duarte tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Duarte lands a heavy elbow. Duarte trying to control but Vetch is having none of it. Vetch is desperately trying to improve his position but Duarte has a good base and remains in mount. Vetch in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Duarte controlling the pace for now. Vetch is looking to improve his position but Duarte isn't that keen on the idea. Duarte working Vetch over with strikes here.

Duarte pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duarte trying to control but he's not successful this time. Poor strikes thrown by Duarte there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Duarte postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Vetch looks a forlorn figure.

Vetch is rocked! Duarte lands a big elbow - Vetch is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Vetch is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Marcos Duarte! After winning the bout, Marcos Duarte thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
