Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shika Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Like a Boss as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a right and a left that Li avoids nicely.
Silva swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Li cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick
and Li counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Li drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Silva is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Li tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Li has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Li seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Silva for as long as he can get away with.

Silva is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Li has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Li!

Li gets to his feet - Silva follows without any prompting.
Li moves into the clinch.
Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Shika Li is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Li shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Silva has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Li is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Silva.
