The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Playmaker misses with a takedown attempt - Sinatra sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sinatra shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sinatra was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Sinatra is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Playmaker has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Playmaker!
Playmaker seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Playmaker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Sinatra is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Sinatra escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Playmaker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sinatra had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Playmaker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sinatra Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Playmaker's back instead.
Sinatra has his arm under Playmaker's chin here. Game over son! Sinatra squeezes tightly and Playmaker is forced to tap out!
