The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bicchiere throws a looping overhand right but Max ducks down to avoid it.
Max shoots in looking for a takedown. Bicchiere tries to sprawl out of it but Max keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bicchiere manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Max tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Dante Bicchiere is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Max ducks right into an uppercut from Bicchiere .
Max pushes Bicchiere up against the cage in a clinch.
Max is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bicchiere pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Max is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Bicchiere has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Max is trying to stick to Bicchiere 's back but Bicchiere is turning into Max. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Max's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bicchiere .

Max thows a body kick. Bicchiere tries to catch it but that hurt him.
The crowd cheers as Bicchiere lands an impressive looking overhand right. Max doesn't seem phased though.

Bicchiere leaves Max with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bicchiere throws a hook to the side of Max's head but Max sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
