PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Laban Pylse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Koutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pylse comes to the cage accompanied by Crack Addict. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Laban Pylse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kevin Koutz!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pylse darts in trying to clinch
and Koutz counters with a nice body kick.
Pylse tries to close the distance and clinch up but Koutz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Koutz, right into the meat.
Pylse steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Koutz. That one must have hurt.
Pylse fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pylse darts in trying to clinch
and Koutz counters with a two punch combo.

Pylse is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pylse throws a series of punches but Koutz avoids them all with ease.
Pylse uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Koutz.
Pylse throws a right hand that Koutz ducks under and follows up with a left that Koutz also avoids with ease.
Koutz is looking to slow Pylse down with leg kicks.

Koutz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pylse manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Oh Pylse is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Koutz working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pylse's head.
Pylse is looking to stand back up but Koutz counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Pylse.
Pylse is breathing heavily.

Koutz decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Koutz has cracked Pylse with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Koutz lands another huge swinging hook and Pylse tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Pylse, before Koutz can land any more shots!
