The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potts closes the distance but Wasilcov moves to the side
and Wasilcov counters with a three punch combo that has Potts backing up. Potts nods at Wasilcov to acknowledge the strikes.
Potts wants to clinch but Wasilcov slips to the side
and Wasilcov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Potts won't be happy with that.
Potts is rocked!
Wasilcov has hold of Potts's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Potts tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Wasilcov cranks the arm and Potts screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Potts, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
