Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milek has taken the fight to the clinch.
Milek manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Milek working for a triangle but Knobbs defends it easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Milek is on top in guard.
Milek trying to stand up but can't free himself from Knobbs's guard.

Milek postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Knobbs should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Milek closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Knobbs has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Milek is working away from the top position though.
Milek looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Milek perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mateusz Milek has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Knobbs shoots for a double leg takedown but Milek sprawls well. He's pushed Knobbs's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Knobbs fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Knobbs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Milek but Milek pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mateusz Milek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamie Knobbs.
Milek has Knobbs up against the cage in a clinch.
Milek jumps into guard, dragging Knobbs to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Milek shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Knobbs is trying to defend but Milek finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Milek seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Knobbs for as long as he can get away with.
We're going to have a standup here because Mateusz Milek wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Milek! Knobbs is out on his feet! Milek rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Knobbs is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Knobbs is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
