The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Matterhorn throws a head kick but Snegov moves out of range.
Snegov scores with the left hand. Von Matterhorn knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Lorenzo Von Matterhorn has been cut.
Von Matterhorn throws a sloppy head kick and Snegov moves out of range easily.

Snegov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Snegov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Von Matterhorn is rocked!
Snegov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Snegov thowing shots but they're missing.
Von Matterhorn is still in real trouble! Can Snegov finish him?

Snegov jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Von Matterhorn manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Von Matterhorn seems to have recovered his senses.
Snegov remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Snegov stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Snegov moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Snegov.
Snegov lunges at Von Matterhorn with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Von Matterhorn's hand.

Snegov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Snegov, as that shot connected.

Snegov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Snegov tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Snegov throws the left hand but Von Matterhorn avoids the punch easily.

Snegov cracks Von Matterhorn with an uppercut from hell and Von Matterhorn crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Snegov's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
