Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian McGordon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Reggie Haidar! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haidar is looking to score with low kicks. Haidar swinging wildly here.

Haidar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Haidar throws a right hand that McGordon ducks under and follows up with a left that McGordon also avoids with ease. Reggie Haidar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Haidar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McGordon moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McGordon slips under a jab from Haidar. McGordon throws a head kick that misses. McGordon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Haidar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - McGordon looks like he's thinking about clinching though. McGordon is looking to chop away at Haidar's legs.

Haidar with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McGordon to score with a decent uppercut.

McGordon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Haidar. Haidar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

McGordon turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Haidar looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McGordon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Haidar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. McGordon wants to clinch. McGordon instigates a clinch. McGordon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Haidar cracks a nice hook into McGordon's ribs. Haidar misses with a low kick. Haidar throws a jab but it's blocked by McGordon. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Reggie Haidar will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

It connects and Haidar has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McGordon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Haidar can do to turn this around? McGordon forces Haidar back against the cage and clinches. The crowd are loving this.
