Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Johnny Eller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Shaun Jenkins! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eller misses with a takedown attempt - Jenkins sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jenkins moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Good leg kick by Jenkins there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Eller. Eller looks for a takedown but Jenkins sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Eller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jenkins wants to clinch. Eller blocks a head kick by Jenkins.
Jenkins circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jenkins wants to clinch but Eller slips to the side and Eller counters by clinching up. Eller tries to pull guard but Jenkins holds him up against the cage and eventually Eller drops back down to his feet.

Eller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jenkins on the ground. Jenkins is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Eller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jenkins swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jenkins is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jenkins working a defensive guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jenkins has control of Eller's left arm, preventing Eller from doing any damage. Jenkins is looking for a triangle but Eller pushes his legs off easily.
Jenkins looks gassed! Eller looking to pass the guard. Jenkins isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Eller stacks Jenkins on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Eller! Jenkins tries to bench press Eller off him but Eller keeps the position. Eller controls the position. Eller tries to stand but Jenkins is controlling his head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eller lands a decent elbow from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jenkins is looking to regain half guard here but Eller keeps moving and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jenkins seems a little lost for a moment, as Eller dominates the positioning. Eller trying to control the action but Jenkins is working from the bottom. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jenkins manages to get back to half guard. Jenkins moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jenkins is trying to control the position but Eller postures up. Eller trying to control but Jenkins is working from the bottom. Jenkins looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jenkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jenkins content to control rather than advance. Let's hope that Jenkins has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Eller is looking to control Jenkins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Eller avoid being mounted? Jenkins is trying to control the action in half guard but Eller is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jenkins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Eller with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Eller wants to control but Jenkins passes into side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shaun Jenkins dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Eller shoots for a takedown but Jenkins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Eller closes the distance and clinches up with Jenkins, looking for a takedown. Eller pushes Jenkins against the cage but Jenkins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jenkins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Eller shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Eller showed some decent athleticism there. Jenkins tries to get to full guard but Eller has control of the leg. Jenkins gets back to full guard.

Jenkins had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Eller is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jenkins Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Eller's back instead. Jenkins is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jenkins is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Eller is defending well though. Jenkins let's go of the attempt for now. Jenkins is breathing heavily. Eller tries to roll but Jenkins sticks to his back.
Jenkins trying to control. Jenkins is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Eller defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Eller holding both Jenkins 's hands and preventing any damage. Jenkins looking for the choke but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jenkins avoiding Eller 's attempts to control his hands. A lull in the action here.
Jenkins is landing with strikes from the back. Jenkins is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Eller is defending well though. Jenkins let's go of the attempt for now. Jenkins is riding his opponent, not letting Eller buck him off. Jenkins is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Eller knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Eller for a finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eller is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jenkins gets his way!
Jenkins has got one arm under Eller's chin. This could be trouble... Eller trying to control the other hand but Jenkins gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Eller has tapped out! The fight is over!
