Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kennedy Embers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobe Bryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Embers might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Settle For Nothing by RATM. Kobe Bryan looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Embers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Bryan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Embers.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Embers enables Bryan to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Embers manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Embers is on top in guard.
Embers seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Embers wants to get up but he can't break Bryan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Bryan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bryan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Embers looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Embers looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Embers!
