Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuji Nakano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Lisiecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Yuji Nakano has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Yuji Nakano seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuji Nakano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Damian Lisiecki! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakano looks to land a combination but Lisiecki avoids it well. Lisiecki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nakano connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Damian Lisiecki has been cut. Nakano looks to clinch and Lisiecki counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Nakano looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nakano is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lisiecki is controlling him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Yuji Nakano. Lisiecki looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Lisiecki trying to mount his opponent but Nakano defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakano wants to control but Lisiecki is keeping busy.
Lisiecki wants to take a breather but Nakano is having none of it. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Damian Lisiecki. Nakano looks to land a combination but Lisiecki avoids it well. Nakano wants to clinch but Lisiecki slips to the side and Lisiecki counters with a shoot takedown. Nakano fights it but they end up in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lisiecki stands up from guard. Let's bang! Lisiecki shoots in for a double leg but Nakano sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Nakano tries to clinch up. Nakano closes the distance looking to clinch and Lisiecki counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lisiecki gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Lisiecki keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nakano is breathing heavily. Lisiecki feints and as Nakano raises his hands in defense, Lisiecki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lisiecki slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Nakano controlling Lisiecki's posture.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nakano tries to bum rush Lisiecki with a series of wild strikes but Lisiecki uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nakano tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lisiecki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Nakano stuffs the takedown attempt from Lisiecki. Lisiecki gets slowly back to his feet. Yuji Nakano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Lisiecki.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lisiecki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nakano's waist but Nakano gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lisiecki off to one side. Lisiecki shoots in but no luck this time. Nakano fails with the takedown. Nakano shoots for a double leg takedown but Lisiecki sprawls well. He's pushed Nakano's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nakano leaves Lisiecki with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lisiecki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lisiecki looks for a takedown but Nakano sprawls well. Nakano shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lisiecki napping and manages to drive through into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damian Lisiecki dominated that round. The cut man is working on Damian Lisiecki's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Lisiecki shoots in looking for a takedown but Nakano manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lisiecki's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Lisiecki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nakano is fending him off so far but Lisiecki persists. Nope, Nakano circles away and we're back to standing. Nakano throws a leg kick that misses. Lisiecki walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Nakano shoots in for a takedown but Lisiecki shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lisiecki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nakano pinned against the cage. Nakano gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Yuji Nakano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Lisiecki. Nakano looks for the body kick but Lisiecki saw that one coming. Lisiecki is breathing heavily. Nakano shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Nakano shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lisiecki as he avoids it easily. Lisiecki fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Nakano looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Yuji Nakano is winning the standup battle so far. Lisiecki scores with a takedown into Nakano's guard. Lisiecki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nakano swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nakano wants to get back to his feet but Lisiecki is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lisiecki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nakano. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lisiecki decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Nakano, up you get! Lisiecki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nakano but Nakano pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nakano doesn't manage to clinch there - Lisiecki circles away.
Lisiecki closes the distance and clinches up with Nakano, looking for a takedown. Lisiecki pushes Nakano against the cage but Nakano circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nakano instigates a clinch. Lisiecki trying to stall but Nakano improves his position.
Nakano lands with a short shot to the head. The referee is keeping an eye on Nakano - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakano is trying to stall.
Lisiecki is trying to pull guard but Nakano turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Nakano lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Nakano is defending well against a takedown attempt. Nakano jumps guard and drags Lisiecki to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Lisiecki gets to his feet. Nakano looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Lisiecki gets caught flat footed, as Nakano shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Nakano content to stall in guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lisiecki working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Nakano. Nakano is looking to stand up but Lisiecki won't let him. Lisiecki pulls Nakano in to control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lisiecki can do anything to dispel that myth. This has been an exciting period of action!
The ref stands the fighters back up because Yuji Nakano just wasn't active enough. Nakano wants to clinch and Lisiecki counters with a two punch combo. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nakano gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Nakano scrambles and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yuji Nakano dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Damian Lisiecki's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Nakano misses with a leg kick and Lisiecki counters with a nice double leg into guard. Nakano is looking to stand up but Lisiecki isn't so interested in that idea. Nakano keeping moving, preventing Lisiecki from controlling successfully.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Damian Lisiecki wasn't active enough on the ground. Lisiecki shoots in for a double leg but Nakano sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Nakano shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lisiecki defends it nicely. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lisiecki bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Nakano is trying to get back to his feet. Damian Lisiecki has got the better of the ground game so far. Lisiecki wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nakano, who protects the arm well. Lisiecki content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lisiecki lands a decent elbow from side control. Lisiecki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nakano keeps working. Lisiecki has knee on belly momentarily but Nakano bucks him off and regains half guard. Lisiecki is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakano wants to stand and escape but Lisiecki is having none of it. Lisiecki passes easily into side control. Nice work. Lisiecki trying to control the action but Nakano is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lisiecki controlling from side mount. Lisiecki decides to stand back up. Lisiecki steps back and let's Nakano get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Damian Lisiecki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lisiecki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
