Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Son (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little Hardon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Son!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Little Hardon!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Son misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sloppy strikes from Son. Those never looked like landing.
Hardon connects with an inside leg kick.
Hardon misses with a body kick.
Hardon closes the distance and pushes Son back into the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Son.
Hardon lands a damaging elbow.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Son wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hardon has him pressed against the cage.
Hardon tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Son is working Hardon over against the cage.
Son wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hardon unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Son tries to throw a body punch but Hardon avoids it by throwing Son back against the cage.

With the fighters up against the cage, Hardon throws an elbow but misses.
Son wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hardon comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Hardon's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Son blocks an elbow strike from Hardon.
Son is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Son jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hardon walks away with a smile on his face. Son gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hardon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Son.
Hardon goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Hardon wants to clinch.
Son misses with the combination.
Hardon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Son.

Son misses with a leg kick.
Son misses with a hook.
Son scores with a shot to the body.
Hardon fakes the leg kick and cracks Son in the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Son throws a right and a left that Hardon avoids nicely.
Son blocks the body kick.
Good leg kick by Hardon there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hardon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hardon slips a jab and a cross from Son.
Son moves away from the strike by Hardon.
Hardon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Son looks to land a combination. Hardon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Little Hardon has been cut.
Son throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hardon tries to clinch but Son is having none of it.
Hardon lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Hardon dodges the punch combination from Son.
Son misses with a double jab
and Hardon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Son wants to land a leg kick but Hardon is out of range.
Hardon punishes Son's body with a nice straight punch.
Hardon throws a sloppy head kick and Son moves out of range easily.
Son misses with a double jab
and Hardon counters with a straight right hand.
Hardon thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Son if he has to take too many more of those.
Son throws out a loose jab but Hardon uses good head movement to avoid it.
Son will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hardon blocks the body kick.
A swing and a miss from Son.
Son on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Hardon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Hardon throws a lazy uppercut
and Son counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Son misses with an uppercut
and Hardon counters with a head kick.
Hardon smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Hardon tries to land a front kick but Son steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hardon throws a body punch but Son moves out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Son. Those never looked like landing.
Son lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hardon.
Son takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Son is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Hardon ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Son clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
