Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randoff Back (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Benoit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Back comes to the cage accompanied by I am the Greatest!. Benoit has chosen New Noise as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randoff Back! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrew Benoit! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Back works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Benoit gets the takedown into side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Benoit just content to control the position. Benoit working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Back is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Benoit is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Back is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Back is trying to buck Benoit off.

Back dodges the ground and pound from Benoit. Benoit has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Benoit swings around for an armbar but Back sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Benoit's guard. Back wants to stand but Benoit is controlling his posture from full guard. Back gets to his feet - Benoit follows without any prompting. Back stuffs the takedown attempt from Benoit. Benoit gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Back stalks Benoit and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Benoit's face. Benoit staggers backwards, shaken. Benoit misses with a takedown attempt and Back counters with a straight right hand. Benoit dives in and grabs Back's left leg, looking for a takedown. Back pushes down on Benoit's head and hops out. Randoff Back has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Benoit. Benoit shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Back but Back pushes him off and we're back to square one. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Benoit fails to land the takedown. Benoit takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Andrew Benoit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Back scores with a nice head shot. Benoit slips under a jab. Back waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Benoit. Benoit shoots for a takedown but Back saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Benoit shoots in for a takedown but Back shows good takedown defense. Back takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Benoit shoots in looking for a takedown but Back manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Benoit's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Back looks to throw the jab but Benoit is out of range. Back jabs Benoit right on the nose. Benoit blinks but takes it well. Benoit tries for a takedown but Back circles away easily and Back counters with a straight right hand. Benoit shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Back stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Back wants it to stay on the feet. Benoit takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Benoit takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Benoit looks gassed! Back connects with a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Back bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Benoit tries for a takedown but Back sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Benoit shoots in but no luck this time. Back cracks Benoit on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Benoit falls backwards against the cage. Back follows up with more strikes that drop Benoit to his knees. Back keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Benoit! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randoff Back!
