The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DeYoung has managed to clinch.
McCallum pushes off an throws an elbow but DeYoung leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
DeYoung blocks an elbow strike.
DeYoung drops to a knee looking for a takedown but McCallum gets the underhooks and prevents it.
DeYoung has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McCallum after a bit of a struggle.
McCallum with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

It looks like Dennis DeYoung has been cut.

McCallum pushes DeYoung back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

DeYoung has McCallum pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. McCallum manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

DeYoung has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics McCallum uses from the top position.

DeYoung dives in and grabs McCallum's left leg, looking for a takedown. McCallum pushes down on DeYoung's head and hops out.
DeYoung closes the distance and clinches up with McCallum, looking for a takedown. DeYoung pushes McCallum against the cage but McCallum circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
DeYoung is breathing heavily.
McCallum cracks a nice hook into DeYoung's ribs.
