And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ballantyne throws a low kick but Fedotov avoids it.
Ballantyne paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ballantyne misses with a low kick as Fedotov jumps back.
Vladik Fedotov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ballantyne has managed to clinch.
Ballantyne throws a punch but it's blocked by Fedotov.
Fedotov lands a good knee to the midsection. Ballantyne won't want to take too many of those.
Fedotov creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ballantyne's defenses.
Fedotov scores a nice knee to the body.
Fedotov gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

and Fedotov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Fedotov has Ballantyne pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Ballantyne is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Fedotov - that's hurt Ballantyne badly! Oh, another knee lands and Ballantyne is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Ballantyne doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Vladik Fedotov!
