Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Doan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toviah Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toviah Pinto will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Doan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Toviah Pinto ! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pinto tries to clinch but Doan is having none of it. Doan wants to clinch. A nice combination there by Pinto .
Pinto tries to clinch up. Doan scores with a decent looking hook. Pinto tries to close the distance and clinch but Doan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pinto stuffs the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Doan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Doan gets caught flat footed, as Pinto shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pinto preventing the sweep. Doan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pinto tries to free his leg and advance position but Doan is retaining full guard. Doan wants to sweep here but Pinto controlling him for the moment. Doan pushes Pinto off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Doan misses with a series of wild punches.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Doan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Doan stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Pinto to get to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Doan is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Pinto is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Doan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Pinto is squirming around, avoiding Doan's attempts to control the action. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pinto trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Doan moves in looking to clinch but Pinto pushes him off. Doan misses with a few strikes there.

Doan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Doan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pinto 's guard. Pinto is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Doan scores with a couple of nice shots. That's four minutes gone in the round. Doan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pinto , pushing him back against the cage. Pinto wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Pinto misses with a punch on the inside.
Doan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Pinto up against the cage. Pinto drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Doan gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Pinto throws a combination that misses and Doan counters with a nice body shot. Left hook, right uppercut from Pinto . Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pinto connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that James Doan will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Pinto knocks Doan out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
