Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Henry Fisher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick House! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fisher fails with the takedown and House counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Fisher is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fisher has House pulled in close to control his posture. House's corner is telling him to maintain position. House trying to control but Fisher is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fisher gets a takedown into half guard. Fisher works his way into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! House sneaks back into half guard. Fisher wants to work for an arm triangle but House is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fisher is looking for a kimura but House is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fisher to get the leverage. Fisher is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. House doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fisher. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. House looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. House trying to hold on to Fisher's head to control him but Fisher postures up.
Fisher is working for a kimura but House is defending it quite comfortably.
That's two minutes gone in the round. House gets full guard. Fisher postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! House is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fisher, into his guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. House missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. House wants to control from the top but Fisher keeps moving. Fisher keeping full guard, as House tries to pass. Fisher looking for a guillotine here but House defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. House passes Fisher's right leg, so he's now in half guard. House is pressing down on Fisher's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fisher is holding on for now. Fisher is looking to improve his position.
House is keen to just control but Fisher is a slippery customer. House is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fisher sees it coming and defends easily. Fisher manages to get to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fisher is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fisher trying to control the position from guard on top but House is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fisher wants to pass the guard but House is keeping the position. House keeping moving, preventing Fisher from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fisher won't allow House to sweep him here. House is looking for a triangle but Fisher pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Henry Fisher will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fisher controls House momentarily but House frees himself. Fisher is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

It's preventing any offense from House, at least for the moment. Fisher keeping moving, preventing House from controlling successfully. Fisher is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. House is aware though and is defending well. Fisher escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. House gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fisher has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but House can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

House trying to control but Fisher is working from the bottom. House controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Fisher is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fisher has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. House doesn't defend quickly enough and Fisher has managed to lock this one up! Can House escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Fisher on a fantastic submission victory.
