Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Puska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viljo Suokas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puska comes to the ring accompanied by You Ain't Stoppin Me !!!! . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Puska! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Viljo Suokas! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Suokas. Those never looked like landing. Suokas stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Puska. Suokas looks to land a combination but Puska avoids it well. Suokas throws a poor cross that misses
letting Puska counter with a right hand. Puska fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Suokas tries a low kick but Puska avoids it. Suokas looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Suokas doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Suokas misses with a double jab.
Nice shot lands for Puska. Puska jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
A punch lands to the side of Suokas 's head but he takes it in his stride. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Puska lands with a kick to the temple. Suokas shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

and Puska counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Suokas is still on wobbly legs! Can Puska finish him? Suokas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Puska moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Viljo Suokas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Suokas misses the jab. Suokas seems to have recovered his senses. Suokas swings for the body but Puska moves out of range.

Suokas scores with a jab. Puska acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Puska moves out of range of the strikes. Suokas avoids the head kick by Puska.

It looks like Mike Puska has been cut. Horrible takedown by Puska or perhaps it was just good defense by Suokas which made him look bad. Suokas scores with a crisp jab that stopped Puska in his tracks. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Suokas misses with a body shot
and Puska makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. A bone on bone clash there as Suokas blocks the leg kick.
Suokas throws out a loose jab but Puska uses good head movement to avoid it. Puska works the jab nicely. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Puska, right into the meat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Puska is looking to chop away at Suokas's legs. Suokas misses the body punch and Puska connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Puska connects with a crisp jab. A clash of legs there as Suokas blocks the low kick. Puska steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Suokas. A jab from Puska misses. Suokas takes a body punch but keeps moving. Suokas with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Puska to score with a decent uppercut. Suokas takes a swing at Puska's ribcage but misses. Puska tries to land a leg kick but Suokas saw it coming and moves away.
Puska throws a shot from downtown. Suokas moves away and avoids it. A punch lands to the side of Suokas 's head but he takes it in his stride. Puska takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Puska fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Suokas's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Puska connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Suokas scrambles back to his feet. Puska throws a hook but Suokas avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Puska avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Puska closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Suokas to the mat! Suokas manages to get full guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Puska wants to control from the top but Suokas keeps moving. Puska looking to pass the guard. Puska drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Puska seems to have locked his on tight now - Suokas screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Puska, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Mike Puska! In his post fight interview, Mike Puska started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
