Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Foti Vasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasa comes to the ring accompanied by Highway to Hell (AC/DC). On his way into the ring it seems that Foti Vasa has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Foti Vasa seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Foti Vasa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, John Doe! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Doe paws at him with a jab and circles away. Vasa blocks a head kick by Doe.
Vasa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Doe counters with a nice leg kick. Vasa fails in his attempt to clinch. Doe shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vasa but Vasa pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sloppy strikes from Doe. Those never looked like landing. Vasa shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Doe napping and manages to drive through into side control! Doe is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Vasa's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Vasa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Doe doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vasa. Vasa landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vasa with the ground and pound but Doe uses the opportunity to regain guard. Vasa won't allow Doe to sweep him here. Vasa throwing strikes from guard but Doe blocks nicely. Doe is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vasa is controlling him. Vasa missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Doe tries to land a sweep but no joy. Vasa loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Vasa won't allow Doe to get back to his feet. Doe controlling the position. Doe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Doe is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vasa is controlling him. Vasa drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Doe manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Vasa has Doe in his guard. Vasa looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vasa keeping full guard, as Doe tries to pass. Vasa has his foot on Doe's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Doe works his way back into a safe position though. Vasa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Doe defends well. Doe would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doe sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Vasa's guard. Doe wants to stand up but Vasa is controlling the position.
Vasa keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Vasa pushes Doe off and gets back to his feet. Vasa takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Doe circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Vasa shoots in and bounces Doe off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Vasa tries to free his leg and advance position but Doe is retaining full guard. Vasa working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Doe's head. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Doe looking to control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vasa loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Doe controls Vasa momentarily but Vasa frees himself. Doe wants to stand but Vasa is controlling the position. Doe is trying to control the position but Vasa postures up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vasa working some strikes from top position. Doe wants to get back to his feet but Vasa is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Vasa postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vasa seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Foti Vasa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Doe wants to control but Vasa is keeping busy and won't allow it. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Vasa is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! That's four minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vasa connects with a nice short shot to Doe's temple. Vasa throwing shots but Doe is blocking nicely. Doe gets full guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vasa working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Vasa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Doe works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Vasa looking to pass the guard. Doe is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vasa is controlling him. Doe has Vasa pulled in close to control his posture. Vasa with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Doe utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Doe looking to control.

He's hooked one of Doe's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Doe's back! Foti Vasa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Vasa lands punches and elbows. Doe can't escape the position.
Vasa is punishing Doe with strikes - can he finish him?! Vasa gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Doe fending off the submission attempt from Vasa. Vasa tightening his grip on Doe, looking for the choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Even with his hooks in, Vasa manages to miss with strikes from the back. John Doe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Doe trying to control the hands but Vasa won't let him. Doe is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Vasa gets his way!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vasa trying to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Foti Vasa showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Vasa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
