The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbott Jr fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Abbott Jr closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Abbott Jr lands in his opponent's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Abbott Jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Abbott Jr is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Saxon is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Saxon has escaped and now he's on top!
Abbott Jr looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Saxon is defending well. Abbott Jr quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Saxon has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Abbott Jr celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
