The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawalew scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Bastard closes the distance looking to clinch
and Kawalew counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kawalew lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Kawalew misses with a takedown attempt - Bastard sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bastard tries to clinch up
and Kawalew counters with a two punch combo.
Bastard darts in trying to clinch
and Kawalew counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Kawalew connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Kawalew counters with a two punch combo.

Bastard showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kawalew.
Bastard takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Oh Bastard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Bastard looks to clinch
and Kawalew counters with a left to the body.
Bastard dodges the punch combination from Kawalew.
Bastard tries to clinch
and Kawalew counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bastard gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Kawalew gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

A relieved looking Chris Kawalew thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
