The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly lands a head shot.
Dragonez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kelly with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Kelly throws a nice outside leg kick.
Dragonez misses with a takedown attempt
and Kelly counters with a good low kick that Dragonez was not able to check.
Dragonez looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kelly lands a nice shot to the body.
Kelly lands a big head kick that sends Dragonez tumbling to the mat! Kelly takes a step backwards and waves Dragonez back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Dragonez is rocked!
It looks like Daniel Dragonez has been cut.
Kelly thuds his shin into the meat of Dragonez's side.
Dragonez is still on wobbly legs! Can Kelly finish him?
A slapping leg kick lands for Kelly.
Kelly throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Dragonez crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jim Kelly!
In his post fight interview, Jim Kelly started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
