The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes has Stelios up against the cage in a clinch.
Nunes wants to get back to striking at distance but Stelios won't allow it.
Stelios has Nunes pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Nunes manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Nunes is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Nunes has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Stelios regains guard immediately.
Stelios keeping moving, preventing Nunes from controlling successfully.
Stelios wants to get back to his feet but Nunes is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Nunes passes Stelios's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Stelios is trying to stand up here but Nunes is controlling him well.
Nunes lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nunes has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Stelios defend it? Nunes steps over the head and cranks it - Stelios is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Nunes!
