Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randall Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh G Rection (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by East Bound And Down. Rection has chosen Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth as his entrance music. Hugh G Rection will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rection throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Johnson misses with a wild body shot.
Johnson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rection jabs Johnson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Rection rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Johnson connects with an inside leg kick.
Rection steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Johnson.
Johnson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Randall Johnson has been cut.
Johnson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rection tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rection to the ground. Rection escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rection throws a lazy right hand but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Rection lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Rection thows a left - swing and a miss!
Johnson throws a looping overhand right but Rection ducks down to avoid it.
Johnson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Rection counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Johnson thinking.
Hugh G Rection seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rection defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randall Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Rection throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown but Rection shows good takedown defense.

Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rection cracks Johnson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Randall Johnson's cut is getting worse.
Johnson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rection manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Johnson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Rection misses with a few strikes there.
Rection throws a leg kick but Johnson moved away.
Johnson throws a hook but Rection blocks it.
Rection stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nice sprawl there from Rection as Johnson shoots in.
Rection is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Johnson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rection's corner calls for a 1-2. Rection obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Johnson is looking to wear down Rection with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rection, right into the meat.
Rection jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rection throws a push kick but Johnson slaps the foot to one side.
Rection will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rection walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Johnson might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Jeez, Randall Johnson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Rection feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Johnson sprawling to the canvas! Johnson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rection finish him?!
Johnson is rocked!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Randall Johnson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
