Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hu Rah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Cavalcante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rah might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Flogging Molly - Devil's Dance Floor. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hu Rah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Junior Cavalcante!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cavalcante moves out of range of the body kick.
Rah moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Rah scores with a head kick.


It looks like Junior Cavalcante has been cut.
Rah fails with the takedown.
Hu Rah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rah darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rah looks to land a combination. Cavalcante sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cavalcante swinging wildly here.
Cavalcante connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rah's hands.


It looks like Hu Rah has been cut.
Rah works over Cavalcante's head and body with a nice combination.
Cavalcante swats away the attempt to clinch by Rah.
A right-left combo lands from Rah.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rah tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cavalcante manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Junior Cavalcante is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rah connects with a crisp jab.
Cavalcante throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Rah moves into the clinch.
Rah with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Rah is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cavalcante pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Cavalcante is trying to break free.
Rah drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hu Rah. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cavalcante is trying to break the clinch but Rah has him pressed against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Rah's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Rah scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Rah is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Rah has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Cavalcante defend it? Rah steps over the head and cranks it - Cavalcante is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Rah!
