Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darren Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homer Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Homer Lewis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Darren Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Homer Lewis! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams swings for the body but Lewis moves out of range.
Lewis misses with a hook to the body
and Williams counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Williams wants to pass to mount but Lewis is defending the position. Lewis wants to control but Williams is keeping busy and won't allow it. Williams wants to pass to mount but Lewis is defending the position. Lewis moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Lewis throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lewis is trying to keep Williams in close.
Lewis has Williams pulled in close to control his posture. Lewis looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lewis trying to keep a closed guard but Williams is proving a slippery customer.
Lewis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lewis might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Williams kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Williams drops back looking for a leg! Lewis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lewis manages to kick Williams off! Williams jumps back into Lewis's guard. Lewis looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Lewis darts in trying to clinch and Williams counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lewis! Williams is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lewis has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lewis! Williams is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving. Williams has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Lewis has passed into side control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Williams stops Lewis from passing to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lewis throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Williams works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Lewis prevents Williams from improving his position. Williams gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Darren Williams dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lewis instigates a clinch. Lewis misses with a knee to the head. Lewis drops down looking for an ankle pick but Williams pulls his leg out and moves away.
Williams circles away from the clinch attempt and Williams counters with a takedown into side control. Williams has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lewis is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Williams yanks on the arm and Lewis is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Williams.
