Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Habanero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Captain Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Habanero comes to the cage accompanied by NERD - Rockstar. Kid has chosen lukenback texas as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Habanero.
Habanero lands with a right hand.
Kid throws a leg kick but Habanero moved away.

A slow jab from Habanero misses its intended target.

Kid throws a push kick but Habanero slaps the foot to one side.
Kid is looking to chop away at Habanero's legs.
Kid tries to land a front kick but Habanero steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kid, as that shot connected.
Kid ducks right into an uppercut from Habanero.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Habanero throws a low kick but Kid moves out of range easily.
Habanero throws a big shot that misses.
Kid pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Kid misses with a body kick.
Kid misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A punch lands to the side of Kid 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Habanero plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Kid is rocked!
Kid will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kid is still on wobbly legs! Can Habanero finish him?
Habanero throws a body kick that misses.
Kid seems to have recovered his senses.
A jab from Habanero finds it's way through Kid's defenses.
Habanero throws an overhand right that drops Kid like a sack of potatoes! Habanero dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rafael Habanero!
Post fight, Rafael Habanero stared into the camera and said 'I'm gonna eat some good steaks at Mad Bank.'.
