Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Duarte lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Pazaruma managing to control the position.
Duarte throws an elbow that misses. Pazaruma uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Duarte's guard. Nice move by Pazaruma!

Pazaruma slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Pazaruma misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Pazaruma postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Duarte managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Pazaruma.

Pazaruma tries for a kimura but Duarte is defending well.
Duarte really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pazaruma. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pazaruma is working Duarte over with some ground and pound from side control.
Pazaruma could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Duarte tries to bench press Pazaruma off him but Pazaruma keeps the position.
Pazaruma scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Duarte to see if he's OK.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pazaruma is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Duarte is trying to escape and Pazaruma transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Duarte is forced to tap! Nice work there by Pazaruma! Very nice indeed!
