Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Palowowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Uta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palowowski comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck by AC/DC. Rick Palowowski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rick Palowowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Uta!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uta tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Palowowski swivels and escapes.
Uta stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Uta wants it to stay on the feet.
Palowowski looking to score a takedown here. Uta is defending well but Palowowski drives through and ends up in Uta's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Palowowski won't allow Uta to sweep him here.
Uta not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Uta is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Palowowski wants to get back to his feet.
Uta works his way into side control.
Palowowski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Uta on the ground.
Uta decides to stand back up. Uta steps back and let's Palowowski get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Palowowski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Uta manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Palowowski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Palowowski throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Palowowski postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Uta working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Palowowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Palowowski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Uta should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Uta manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Palowowski tries to reverse the position but Uta maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Uta stands up from mount. Strange move.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Palowowski tries to close the distance and clinch but Uta swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Uta throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Palowowski's waist but Palowowski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Uta off to one side.
Uta fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Rick Palowowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Uta.
Palowowski shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Uta napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Uta looks gassed!
Uta takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Palowowski looks up at the clock and then as Uta takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Palowowski smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Uta is rocked!
The crowd goes nuts as Palowowski knocks Uta out cold with a massive hammerfist! Palowowski Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rick Palowowski!
Rick Palowowski was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
