Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Andersen! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch. Johnson misses with a few strikes there.
Johnson fails to land with a series of punches.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Andersen but Andersen pushes him off and we're back to square one. Chris Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Andersen's guard. Johnson has gone for a leg lock! Andersen slips out almost immediately though and dives into Johnson's guard. Johnson wants to sweep here but Andersen controlling him for the moment. Andersen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Johnson is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andersen tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard. Andersen wants to stand and escape but instead Johnson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Johnson wanted to stand there but Andersen had control of the position. Johnson wants to pass the guard but Andersen is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch. Andersen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Johnson is breathing heavily. Andersen has Johnson up against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersen tries to break the clinch but Johnson is controlling the position. Andersen can't break the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Andersen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Johnson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Andersen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Andersen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Andersen gets to his feet - Johnson follows without any prompting.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andersen clobbers Johnson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. A head kick misses from Andersen. Johnson is looking to clinch. Andersen scores with a hook to the body. Johnson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Andersen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Andersen showed some decent athleticism there. Andersen wants to stand but Johnson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnson scores with a takedown into Andersen's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Johnson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Andersen throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Johnson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Andersen doesn't succeed with the takedown and Johnson moves into the clinch. Andersen is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson digs a right hand underneath Andersen's ribcage. Andersen let out a lung full of air as it connected. Johnson breaks from the clinch.
Johnson misses with a body kick. Johnson looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Johnson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Johnson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Andersen to the mat! Andersen manages to get full guard. Johnson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Andersen being controlled here, momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andersen keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Andersen, up you get! Johnson has his takedown stuffed and Andersen counters with a left and a right that stings Johnson. Andersen throws a head kick that misses. Johnson misses with a body punch
and Andersen counters by clinching up. Andersen stalling in the clinch but Johnson improves position. Johnson lands a body shot in the clinch.
Johnson breaks from the clinch.

and Andersen counters with a leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andersen throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Johnson. Johnson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Johnson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Johnson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Andersen for as long as he can get away with. Johnson stopping the sweep attempt from Andersen. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Johnson dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Johnson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Andersen's guard. Andersen is trying to keep Johnson in close.
Andersen pulls Johnson in close to prevent any damage. Andersen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Andersen tries to take Johnson's back but instead Johnson uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Andersen is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Johnson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Andersen is working away from the top position though. Andersen wants to pass to mount but Johnson is defending the position. Johnson kicks Andersen off and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersen circles away from the clinch attempt and Andersen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Andersen throws a head kick that misses and Johnson counters with a three punch combo that has Andersen backing up. Andersen nods at Johnson to acknowledge the strikes. Andersen throws out a loose jab but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it. Johnson throws a combination. Andersen tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Johnson misses with a combination
and Andersen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Johnson pulls Andersen in close to prevent any damage.
