Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rogelio Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Price kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Twisted Sister - The Price. Rogelio Rodriguez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rodriguez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rodriguez drops his hands momentarily and Price takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Sean Price seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Price throws a leg kick but Rodriguez checks it.
Price loads up on a big right hand but Rodriguez slips the punch.
Price throws a lazy right hand but Rodriguez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Price throws a looping overhand right but Rodriguez ducks down to avoid it.

Price jabs Rodriguez to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Price tries to clinch but Rodriguez is having none of it.
Price throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Rodriguez circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rodriguez walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Rodriguez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Price.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Price does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sean Price.
