Malik comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Final Countdown kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malik blocks a head kick by Valenzuela.
Valenzuela has taken the fight to the clinch.
The referee calls for Valenzuela to work.
Valenzuela lands an elbow just above Malik 's eye.
Valenzuela manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Malik is trying to maintain a safe position but Valenzuela gets an underhook and turns Malik into the cage.
Valenzuela has Malik pressed against the cage.
Malik can't break the clinch.
Valenzuela slowing the pace effectively.
Valenzuela putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Malik in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Guilherme Valenzuela.
Valenzuela connects with a leg kick. Malik looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Malik takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Malik throws a head kick that misses
and Valenzuela counters with a body kick that stops Malik in his tracks momentarily.
Malik looks gassed!
A solid leg kick lands there for Valenzuela.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Valenzuela dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Valenzuela connects with a crisp jab.
Valenzuela throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Valenzuela throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Malik.
Valenzuela feints and then cracks Malik's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Malik down.
Valenzuela smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Malik takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice leg kick lands there from Valenzuela.
Valenzuela pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Valenzuela throws an overhand right that drops Malik like a sack of potatoes! Valenzuela dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Guilherme Valenzuela!
Guilherme Valenzuela bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
