Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mixalis Pavlis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veldrane Sengir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Veldrane Sengir will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mixalis Pavlis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Veldrane Sengir! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pavlis misses with a body shot.
Sengir fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pavlis sprawls well initially but Sengir persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sengir not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Sengir is looking for a kimura but Pavlis is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sengir to get the leverage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pavlis pushes Sengir off looking to stand but Sengir dives back in and keeps control.
Pavlis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sengir perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Sengir is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pavlis is just riding it out for now. Sengir eventually gives up the hold. Pavlis is looking to get back to is feet but Sengir passes into side control.
Pavlis is trying to improve his position. Sengir throws a strike aimed at the side of Pavlis's head but Pavlis avoids it well. You can see the frustration on Pavlis's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sengir stands up. Pavlis fails with the takedown. Sengir scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Pavlis is looking to improve his position.
Sengir is taking a breather. Pavlis says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Sengir seems to be looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pavlis actively working from the bottom here. Pavlis trying to control but Sengir postures up.
Sengir is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pavlis sees it coming and defends easily. Pavlis wants to get back to his feet. Sengir performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sengir is looking for a kimura here.
Pavlis is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pavlis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pavlis works his way to full guard. Good work. Sengir decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sengir tries for a takedown but Pavlis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Pavlis tries to clinch but Sengir is having none of it. Pavlis throws a combination that misses and Sengir counters with a shoot takedown. Pavlis fights it but they end up in guard. Sengir looking to control the position here, rather than advance. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sengir accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pavlis keeping moving, preventing Sengir from controlling successfully. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pavlis wants to stand and escape but Sengir is having none of it. Pavlis working for a triangle but Sengir defends it easily.
Sengir thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pavlis keeping moving, preventing Sengir from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sengir wants to stand but Pavlis is controlling his posture from full guard. Pavlis can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sengir controls the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Veldrane Sengir dominated that round. That's time! Pavlis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A lazy left from Pavlis finds it's target. Mixalis Pavlis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Excellent takedown into side control there by Sengir. Pavlis is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sengir has just dragged him back down to the mat. Sengir in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Pavlis is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
