Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gable Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vartan Sophaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sophaz has chosen Sota (Shantel) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gable Bot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vartan Sophaz! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sophaz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bot shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sophaz is trying to defend but Bot finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Sophaz trying to control but Bot postures up.
Bot lands with a punch from half guard. Bot wants to pass the guard but Sophaz is defending well. Bot prevents Sophaz from standing back up.
Sophaz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bot trying to control from half guard but Sophaz is working away. Sophaz pushes Bot off looking to stand but Bot dives back in and keeps control.
Bot thows a huge punch but Sophaz dodges it nicely.
Sophaz is staying active underneath Bot, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Bot takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Bot lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Bot is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bot missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bot wants to control but Sophaz is keeping him busy. Bot is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Sophaz won't allow Bot to pass to mount. Sophaz is not content to let Bot control the position. Bot takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Bot is looking to take a break and control but Sophaz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bot lands a nice short elbow. Bot throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Sophaz to regain full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bot postures up in Sophaz's guard and throws a big left but Sophaz blocks it. Bot chips away with some ground and pound. Bot works over Sophaz with some ground and pound from guard. Bot sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sophaz's guard. Bot missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bot is taking a breather. Sophaz says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sophaz on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
It looks like Vartan Sophaz has been cut. Sophaz wants to get back to full guard. Bot looks to land a strike but Sophaz avoids it nicely and regains full guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bot in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bot throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sophaz works some decent striking defense from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gable Bot dominated that round. The cut man is working on Vartan Sophaz's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sophaz thows a body shot but no joy. Good exchange - Sophaz coming out on top.
It looks like Gable Bot has been cut. Sophaz throws a low kick, looking for Bot's leg but Bot calmly moves out of range. Sophaz cracks Bot with a good jab. Bot throws a sloppy head kick and Sophaz moves out of range easily. Bot throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sophaz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Sophaz lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sophaz throws a right hand that Bot ducks under and follows up with a left that Bot also avoids with ease. Bot throws a push kick but Sophaz slaps the foot to one side. Bot looks to score with a jab to the body but Sophaz is just out of range. Bot throws a jab when Sophaz was well out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bot throws out a leg kick but Sophaz moves out of range and Bot only half commits. Vartan Sophaz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bot dives in and scores a takedown into Sophaz's guard. Bot trying to control but Sophaz is working from the bottom. Bot throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sophaz works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bot has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bot trying to control but Sophaz is working from the bottom. Sophaz wants to sweep here but Bot controlling him for the moment. Bot tries to free his leg and advance position but Sophaz is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bot accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bot trying to control the position from guard on top but Sophaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We're going to have a standup here because Gable Bot wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Sophaz checks a leg kick. A leg kick checked by Bot. Bot with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Bot scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sophaz is pushing Bot's head away, looking to escape. Bot manages to hold on to the position though. Sophaz is looking to reverse the position. Bot in side control, throwing shots but Sophaz defends. Bot scores with punches from side control. Bot lands some shots froms side control. Bot working the body and head with strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bot working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Sophaz is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bot connects with a decent elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bot in side control lands a decent elbow.
Sophaz is rocked! Bot crunches a massive hammerfist down on Sophaz - he's out! Bot Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
