Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Qwerty Board (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin Burton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burton comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Crying Game - Professor Green kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Board, pushing him back against the cage.

Burton scores a nice knee to the body.
Board can't get the takedown.
Board goes for a takedown attempt but Burton pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Burton dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Board fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Qwerty Board. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Burton counters with a nice leg kick.
Board shoots in but Burton avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Board fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Burton leaves Board with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Burton cracks Board with a good jab.

Burton comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Burton pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Board back to the cage. Burton follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Burton closes the distance and pushes Board back into the cage.
Burton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Colin Burton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Board.
Burton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Board moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Burton closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Board is rocked!
Burton feints and then cracks Board's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Board down.
Oh Board is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Board fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Burton avoids it really well and circles away.
Burton lands a nice looking kick to the body. Board takes a step back to recover.
Board is breathing heavily.
Board shoots in looking for a takedown. Burton tries to sprawl out of it but Board keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Burton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Good shot there by Burton.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Burton scores with a shot to the body.
Board shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Burton sprawls well. Burton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Board gets slowly back to his feet.
Board looks to clinch
and Burton counters with a big right hand! Oh Board is in trouble here! Burton follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

After winning the bout, Colin Burton thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
