Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Salace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcos Alejandro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcos Alejandro is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Simon Salace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcos Alejandro! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alejandro closes the distance looking to clinch and Salace counters with a nice right hand that sends Alejandro toppling to the canvas! Alejandro scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Salace finish him?!
It looks like Marcos Alejandro has been cut. Marcos Alejandro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Alejandro tries to clinch but Salace moves away and Salace counters with a shoot takedown. Alejandro fights it but they end up in guard. Salace content to stall in guard here. Alejandro is looking to stand up but Salace isn't so interested in that idea. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Salace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alejandro swivels though and keeps the full guard. Alejandro utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Alejandro wants to get back to his feet but Salace is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salace drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Salace jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Alejandro is looking to stand up but Salace isn't so interested in that idea. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Salace's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Alejandro keeping moving, preventing Salace from controlling successfully. Salace slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Salace looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Salace controlling the position from side mount. Salace trying to control the action but Alejandro is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salace is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Alejandro will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Salace goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Alejandro rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Salace's guard! Nice work there by Alejandro! Salace is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
This has been an exciting period of action! Salace is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Alejandro is aware though and is defending well. Alejandro stands up and waves to Salace to follow him. Salace circles away from the clinch attempt enabling Salace to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salace has a takedown stuffed. The fight stays on the outside here - Alejandro looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Salace circles away from the clinch attempt so Salace counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Salace drops back looking for a leg! Alejandro is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Alejandro manages to kick Salace off! Salace jumps back into Alejandro's guard. Alejandro uses the cage to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Salace trying to mount his opponent but Alejandro defends it. Salace is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Alejandro sees it coming and defends easily. Salace throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Salace is trying to work for a kimura but Alejandro is defending well.
Salace prevents Alejandro from standing back up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Salace is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Salace trying to control the action but Alejandro is working from the bottom. Alejandro pushes Salace off looking to stand but Salace dives back in and keeps control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Simon Salace dominated that round. The cut man is working on Marcos Alejandro's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Alejandro darts in trying to clinch and Salace counters with a three punch combo that has Alejandro backing up. Alejandro nods at Salace to acknowledge the strikes. Alejandro tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Salace paws at him with a jab and circles away. Alejandro tries to clinch but Salace moves away and Salace counters with a nice double leg into side control. Alejandro won't be happy with that. Salace is working Alejandro over with some ground and pound from side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Alejandro wants to get back to his feet but Salace drags him back down. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Salace lands a decent elbow from side control. Salace goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Alejandro has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Salace but great work by Alejandro. Salace is looking for a sweep. Salace wants to control but Alejandro postures up. Salace is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Alejandro is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alejandro tries to stand but Salace controls the position and pulls Alejandro into his guard. Salace has control of Alejandro's left arm, preventing Alejandro from doing any damage. Salace wants to sweep here but Alejandro controlling him for the moment. Salace working a defensive guard here.
Salace manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Simon Salace overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Salace looking to control but Alejandro is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salace unloading with bombs! Salace swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Alejandro is now in Salace's guard. A big mistake from Salace there, giving up the dominant position! Salace throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Salace is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Alejandro can do to turn this around? Alejandro wants to stand but Salace has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Salace is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Salace looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Alejandro is defending well. Salace quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Alejandro has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Salace celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
