Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Slayter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Morgan Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slayter connects with a high kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Slayter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Anderson takes the fight into the clinch.
Anderson lands a shoulder strike.


It looks like Jack Slayter has been cut.
Slayter is trying to push Anderson away but Anderson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Slayter has had enough of the clinch but Anderson keeps him there for the moment.
Slayter is trying to break the clinch but Anderson has him pressed against the cage.
Anderson lands with a light punch inside.
Anderson lands with a left to the head.
Anderson has Slayter pressed against the cage, preventing Slayter from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Slayter is looking to break free of the clinch but Anderson has double underhooks.
Anderson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Slayter backwards.
Slayter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Anderson has him pressed against the cage.
Slayter looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Slayter pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slayter tries to circle away but Anderson has him pinned against the cage.

Anderson breaks from the clinch.

Anderson moves into range and clinches up with Slayter.
Slayter looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Anderson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Slayters head.
Slayter with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
A short left from Anderson.
Slayter has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Anderson breaks from the clinch.

Anderson moves into range and clinches up with Slayter.
Anderson working some nice short punches in the clinch.


Slayter is rocked!
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Oh Slayter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Slayter seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Anderson is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.
Slayter seems to have got his legs back now.
Slayter has had enough of the clinch but Anderson keeps him there for the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slayter trying to control the position but instead, Anderson has worked for underhooks and has pushed Slayter into the cage.
Slayter wants to break the clinch but can't.
Slayter is trying to push Anderson away but Anderson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Slayter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Anderson has him pressed against the cage.

Anderson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Slayter throws a sloppy head kick and Anderson moves out of range easily.

Anderson has closed the distance and engaged Slayter in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anderson avoiding damage as Slayter throws knees to the body.
Slayter is trying to stall.
Slayter is trying to break the clinch but Anderson has him pressed against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Slayter throws an elbow but it misses.
Slayter can't break the clinch.

Anderson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Anderson drops his hands momentarily and Slayter takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Anderson closes the distance and clinches.
Slayter is trying to push Anderson away but Anderson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Anderson working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Anderson lands a hook to the side of the head.


Jack Slayter's cut is getting worse.
Slayter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Anderson has him pressed against the cage.

Anderson drops Slayter with a big knee straight up the middle! Slayter is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Anderson forces Slayter back against the cage and clinches.
Slayter working hard to break the clinch.
Slayter is looking to control Anderson's arms but Anderson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Slayter has his back to the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Anderson.
Anderson throws a big uppercut that drops Slayter! More strikes from Anderson and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Slayter lies dazed against the cage as Anderson celebrates with his cornermen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Morgan Anderson!
Morgan Anderson got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
