Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Dolgov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Hawk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Max Dolgov! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawk connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dolgov. Dolgov circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Hawk misses with a double jab
and Dolgov counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dolgov. Hawk tries to circle away but Dolgov has him pinned against the cage. Dolgov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dolgov tests Hawk's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jab, jab by Hawk - just one landing. Dolgov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hawk swats him away and circles back towards the center. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hawk misses with a left hand and Dolgov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hawk is rocked! Hawk throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Oh Hawk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A momentary lapse in concentration from Hawk enables Dolgov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hawk manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Dolgov won't allow Hawk to get back to his feet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dolgov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hawk avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dolgov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Hawk lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dolgov! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawk misses with a head shot. Hawk seems to have got his legs back now. Dolgov doing his best to control the position. Can he escape? Dolgov slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Dolgov is positioning himself well to prevent Hawk advancing to mount. Hawk will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dolgov keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Dolgov keeping control of the position. Dolgov moves into full guard.
Dolgov pulls Hawk in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawk wants to get up but he can't break Dolgov's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hawk is looking to work some ground and pound but Dolgov has wrist control. Dolgov manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hawk tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hawk takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dolgov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hawk's face.
Hawk takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Dolgov unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Hawk wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Dolgov celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Dolgov! During a confident post fight interview, Max Dolgov thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
