The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cerdan.

Cerdan moves into range and clinches up with Clark.

Cerdan breaks the clinch.
Cerdan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Clark throws a series of punches but Cerdan moves out of range.
Clark uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cerdan.
Clark throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Cerdan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Clark, pushing him back against the cage.

Cerdan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cerdan lands a jab to the nose.
Cerdan throws an overhand right that lands on Clark's shoulder, as Clark tries to avoid the shot.
Clark defending well as Cerdan loads up on a big left hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cerdan works Clark's body with a nice hook.
A combination from Clark does no damage.
Cerdan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Clark.
Cerdan tries to bum rush Clark with a series of wild strikes but Clark uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Clark closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Cerdan is trying to force a seperation but Clark has the dominant position.
Clark makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Clark tries to score a body lock takedown but Cerdan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Cerdan breaks from the clinch.
Cerdan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Clark's head backwards.
Clark misses with the combination.
Cerdan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clark connects with a body shot.
Cerdan throws a right hand that Clark ducks under and follows up with a left that Clark also avoids with ease.
Clark takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Cerdan walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Clark drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Cerdan swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Clark's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
