PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Asteroids Bombereem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tetsuya Takimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Asteroids Bombereem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tetsuya Takimoto!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bombereem throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Tetsuya Takimoto has been cut.
Takimoto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bombereem as he avoids it easily.
Bombereem leaves Takimoto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Takimoto or perhaps it was just good defense by Bombereem which made him look bad.
Asteroids Bombereem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tetsuya Takimoto.
Bombereem tries to bum rush Takimoto with a series of wild strikes but Takimoto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Takimoto walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Takimoto slips a jab and a cross from Bombereem.
Bombereem stuffs the takedown attempt from Takimoto. Takimoto gets slowly back to his feet.
Bombereem stuffs the takedown.
Takimoto takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Takimoto shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Bombereem counter with a right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Takimoto takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Takimoto is rocked!
Bombereem fakes the body blow, causing Takimoto to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Takimoto goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Asteroids Bombereem took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
