Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jamie Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Leonardo Bassi!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bassi takes a kick to the side of the head.

Dixon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bassi to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Dixon wants to stand but Bassi is controlling the position.
Dixon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dixon tries to get out of the position.
Bassi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dixon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dixon wants to stand and escape but Bassi is having none of it.
Bassi content to stall in guard here.
Dixon wants to get back to his feet but Bassi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bassi slips nicely into half guard.

Bassi has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Dixon defend it? Bassi steps over the head and cranks it - Dixon is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bassi!
