Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Kronek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leo Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Kronek! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie tries to clinch there but Kronek circles away.
Gracie misses with a body kick. Gracie closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kronek quickly recovers to half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Kronek is looking to control Gracie's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kronek avoid being mounted? Gracie keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Gracie is looking for a kimura here.
Kronek is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kronek desperately trying to maintain half guard. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kronek keeps working.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Gracie dives in and scores a takedown into Kronek's guard. Kronek keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kronek can do anything to dispel that myth. Kronek being controlled here, momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie with a flurry of punches that miss. Gracie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kronek looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kronek looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kronek! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kronek takes a little break here. Gracie wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Kronek thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kronek moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Kronek is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gracie has escaped the position, nice work there. Gracie pushes Kronek away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kronek gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Gracie is looking to reverse the position. Kronek prevents Gracie from escaping the position. Kronek is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gracie tries to bench press Kronek off him but Kronek keeps the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kronek is trying to get an arm triangle but Gracie is defending well. Kronek laying and praying for a moment but Gracie takes advantage and regains half guard. Gracie wants to get back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kronek content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Gracie wants to improve his position but Kronek is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leo Gracie dominated that round. That's time! Gracie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Gracie wants to control from the top but Kronek keeps moving. Kronek pulls Gracie in close to his closed guard and prevents Gracie from doing any damage or advancing position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Gracie wants to control from the top but Kronek keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Leo Gracie. Kronek dives in and grabs Gracie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes down on Kronek's head and hops out. Gracie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kronek on his heels. He'll look to pass Kronek's guard now, I'm sure. Kronek manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kronek wants to free his trapped foot but Gracie is holding on for dear life with his legs. Gracie has a hand on Kronek's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Kronek takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Kronek with the ground and pound from mount. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kronek takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Gracie bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Kronek looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gracie is one step ahead there. Kronek is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kronek doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Kronek keeps moving.
We're going to have a standup here because Leo Gracie wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kronek tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away. Leo Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gracie closes the distance looking to clinch and Kronek counters by moving into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kronek jumps guard but Gracie turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Kronek fails to pull guard.
Leo Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Kronek. Gracie manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Gracie working for a triangle but Kronek defends it easily.
Gracie wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kronek is aware though and is defending well. Gracie looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leo Gracie dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Kronek scores a takedown into full mount! Kronek controlling from the full mount. Kronek prevents Gracie from getting the reversal. Kronek with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Gracie is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Kronek has taken his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie wants to escape the position.
Kronek is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Gracie has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie wants to control his opponent's hands but Kronek gets his hands free. Kronek working for a choke but Gracie is defending well. Kronek takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kronek is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Kronek wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kronek doesn't have the hooks in and Gracie manages to turn into his guard.
Gracie loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Gracie wants to control from the top but Kronek keeps moving. Kronek working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gracie wants to control from the top but Kronek keeps moving. Gracie is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Leo Gracie wasn't doing enough on the ground. Gracie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kronek did well to prevent Gracie getting side control. Ivan Kronek has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gracie uses his free foot to push down on Kronek's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kronek. Kronek is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gracie working away from the top, dropping strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Leo Gracie showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gracie, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
