Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Batsbak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Batsbak is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Batsbak manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Batsbak's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Batsbak sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Batsbak working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Batsbak is tightening it up a little... Gracie has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gracie reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gracie taps out! Nice BJJ there by Batsbak!
