Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Pacino Delegratti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Benjamin Cooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Al Pacino Delegratti! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooper lands a two punch combo.
Cooper throws a right and a left that both miss. Delegratti swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Cooper fails with an attempt to clinch.
Delegratti shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Delegratti seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. It looks like Delegratti might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Delegratti not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delegratti perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Delegratti tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cooper knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Al Pacino Delegratti hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Cooper gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Delegratti to score an easy takedown into full guard. Delegratti slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Delegratti prevents Cooper from getting back to his feet. Cooper is breathing heavily. Delegratti slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Al Pacino Delegratti has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. A slow jab from Delegratti misses its intended target. Cooper tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A nice combination there by Delegratti.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cooper lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Delegratti has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Delegratti and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Delegratti thows a left - swing and a miss! Delegratti throws a series of strikes that have Cooper backpedaling.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cooper gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Delegratti cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cooper walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Delegratti lands a head shot. Benjamin Cooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cooper shoots for a double leg takedown but Delegratti sprawls well. He's pushed Cooper's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Cooper ducks right into an uppercut from Delegratti. Delegratti drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Delegratti makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Delegratti connects with a couple of short punches. Delegratti sitting in guard here, content to control. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Delegratti trying to control but Cooper is working from the bottom.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Al Pacino Delegratti wasn't active enough on the ground. Cooper walks into a left hand. Jab, jab by Delegratti - just one landing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Delegratti closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cooper to the mat! Cooper manages to get full guard. Delegratti slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Al Pacino Delegratti dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Cooper on the wrong end of a nice jab. Delegratti lands a jab to the head.
Delegratti throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Delegratti is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cooper's half guard. Ground and pound from Delegratti. Delegratti stalling. Cooper wants to get back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delegratti is trying to control. Cooper wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Cooper is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Delegratti has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Delegratti putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Delegratti looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Delegratti takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Delegratti postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cooper looks a forlorn figure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delegratti tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Cooper is bucking up trying to escape but Delegratti cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Delegratti is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Cooper can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delegratti controlling from mount. Delegratti is in the full mount, landing strikes. Delegratti controlling the pace for now. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Delegratti cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Delegratti content just to control the position here. Delegratti fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Cooper is in a horrible position here. Delegratti smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Delegratti landing strikes from the mount. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Delegratti sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Delegratti pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Al Pacino Delegratti showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Cooper takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Cooper wants to clinch up but Delegratti keeps it at a distance. Cooper on the wrong end of a nice jab. Cooper with a poor takedown and Delegratti counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Cooper misses with a double jab.
Delegratti throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cooper sees it coming and avoids it easily. Delegratti will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Delegratti scores with a decent looking hook. Delegratti wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Al Pacino Delegratti seems to be getting the better of the standup. Delegratti lands with a slapping head kick. Delegratti closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cooper's guard. Al Pacino Delegratti has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Delegratti showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delegratti chips away with some ground and pound. Delegratti throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Delegratti is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Al Pacino Delegratti. Sloppy strikes from Delegratti. Those never looked like landing. Delegratti closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Delegratti with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delegratti drops an elbow to the side of Cooper's head. Delegratti is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Delegratti shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Ground and pound from Delegratti. Delegratti wants to pass to mount but Cooper is defending the position. Delegratti controlling the action here. Cooper has hold of Delegratti's hands but Delegratti slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Benjamin Cooper has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that's the end of the fight! Al Pacino Delegratti comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Delegratti has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
