The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Hammer. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hammer looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lee looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hammer has picked Lee up and slammed him! Lee can't keep hold of the triangle and Hammer manages to pass to side control!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hammer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Smith Hammer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

BOOM! Hammer connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
