PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kriztov The Yeti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Drone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Yeti comes into the arena with Duran Duran- Eye of the tiger blaring out of the sound system. Drone has chosen t.i and ludacris-wish you would as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Yeti misses with the combination.
The Yeti fails to land with a series of punches.
The Yeti scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Drone looks for a takedown but The Yeti sprawls well.
The Yeti throws a right and a left that both miss.
The Yeti swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Drone counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps The Yeti thinking.
Drone shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Drone counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Drone.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The Yeti is looking to get back to is feet but Drone passes into side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The Yeti throws a series of punches but Drone avoids them all with ease.
Drone shoots for a double leg takedown but The Yeti sprawls well. He's pushed Drone's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kriztov The Yeti is winning the standup battle so far.
The Yeti works Drone's body with a nice hook.
The Yeti changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Drone is breathing heavily.
The Yeti will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

OH! Drone has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! The Yeti smells blood and charges in for the finish! The Yeti unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Drone sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
