10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Marx! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marx looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Gracie has knee on belly and moves into mount. Gracie throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Marx has his hands clasped together but Gracie breaks the hold and Marx is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Gracie!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rener Gracie!
