Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderley Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souza is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Roy Jones - Can't be touched. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brian Nelson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wanderley Souza! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson thows a body kick. Souza tries to catch it but that hurt him. Nelson has Souza up against the cage in a clinch.
Nelson lands an elbow inside. Souza gets underhooks to prevent Nelson's takedown attempt.
Nelson wants to take the fight to the mat but Souza manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Nelson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Nelson landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Good body shot from Nelson.
Souza looks gassed! Nelson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Nelson controls the position from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nelson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Nelson controls the position from side control. Nelson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nelson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Nelson landing strikes. Nelson is trying to get an arm triangle but Souza is defending well. Souza is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nelson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Souza has escaped the position, nice work there. Nelson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Souza to see if he's OK. Nelson in side control, throwing shots but Souza defends. Souza prevents Nelson from improving position. Nelson in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Souza is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nelson connects with a decent elbow. Souza prevents Nelson from moving into mount. Nelson working the head and body with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nelson passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Souza! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nelson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Souza's face.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Souza is in a horrible position here. Nelson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Souza shoots in looking for a takedown. Nelson tries to sprawl out of it but Souza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nelson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Souza getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Nelson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Nelson controlling the position from side mount. Nelson advances to mount. Nelson with a couple of short strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Souza in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Nelson controlling the position easily from mount. Nelson lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Souza hang on? Nelson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Souza is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nelson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nelson goes for an armbar but Souza turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Souza. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Nelson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Nelson wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Brian Nelson wasn't doing enough on the ground. Souza tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nelson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Brian Nelson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nelson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Souza was covering up waiting for the punch and Nelson finishes the takedown easily into guard. Nelson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nelson distracts Souza with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Nelson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Nelson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Nelson is looking to work some ground and pound but Souza has wrist control. Nelson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Souza dives on top into guard. Brian Nelson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nelson wants to sweep here but Souza controlling him for the moment. Nelson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Nelson dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Nelson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Wanderley Souza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Souza shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Souza moves out of range as Nelson throws a body kick.
Souza closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Brian Nelson has been cut. Souza fails in his attempt to clinch. A big right from Nelson misses. Souza darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Souza rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nelson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nelson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sloppy strikes from Souza. Those never looked like landing. Souza takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Nelson throws a right and a left that both miss. Nelson scores a takedown into full mount! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nelson content just to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. BOOM! Nelson connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Nelson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Nelson controlling the pace for now. Nelson is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Souza is forced to tap! Great finish!
