Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Madula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Madula!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madula misses with a combination
and Jones counters with a slapping leg kick.

Jones has Madula pushed against the cage.
Madula throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Madula stalls.

Jones jumps guard but Madula turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Madula must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jones has his foot on Madula's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Madula works his way back into a safe position though.

Madula is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jones is just riding it out for now. Madula eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Madula scores with a couple of nice shots.

Madula is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Madula is stalling here. Jones is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Madula seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Jones has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Madula ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Madula no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Madula is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Madula circles away and we're back to standing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Madula gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Madula is trying to maintain a safe position but Jones gets an underhook and turns Madula into the cage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jon Jones.
I think Jones has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
